It is very important to know what are the best foods to eat,
when you are trying to lose fat. There are so many different varieties of foods
but some foods are better then others. If you know what to eat and why you
should eat something, then you will make huge progress in no time. So here is
the fat burning foods list that should be a part of everyone´s nutrition
program.
1. Oatmeal
It is a food that almost every fitness model, athlete eats
every single day. Nothing beats the good old oatmeal. The reason why it is that
popular is that it contains a balance of
protein, good fats and carbs. Oatmeal is a very slowly released carbohydrate,
which is perfect if you are trying to get lean.
2. Potatoes
For some reason potatoes are not very popular amongst the
fat loss community. Potatoes are natural complex carbs, they contain vitamins,
minerals and fibers and they also fill you up nicely. The main reason why
potatoes are not favored is that it is high on the glycemic index, which means
potatoes are absorbed as blood sugar very quickly. But if you eat some lean
protein with your potatoes, then the combined level is much lower. Baked
potatoes are much better then fried potatoes, so if you eat potatoes always bake

3. Yams
Like the oatmeal Yams
are also one of the favourite amongst bodybuilders because it is low on the
glycemic index, they are low in calorie, natural and full with nutrients and
antioxidants. If you put together yams with some meat, fish, chicken and green
vegetables, then you will have an excellent fat burning meal.
4. Rice
As long as you keep your calories under control and don´t
eat rice with fat added to it then you are good to go. Brown rice is the best
of all and if you bake or stem it, then even better. White rice processed and
that is why it has less nutritional value. Using brown rice is much better.
5. Green vegetables
There is no surprise here green vegetables should always be
in your menu. Vegetables are fibrous carbohydrates that hardly contain any
calories. If you are on a strict diet eat veggies. It is better to eat veggies
later in the day and if you combine veggies with lean proteins, then you will
get a nice fat burning meal.
These are some of the main foods that one should include in
their menu. Of course there are other excellent foods like egg whites, chicken
